Here’s a very cool build we have for a new custom from the coast. This NXT-R4 is going to serve double duty as a very cool camping cruiser and also a golf machine.
Check out the one off front bush bar/tray system we have underway!
Installing the rear end into the chassis
Rear lift swing arm was next
Coil over suspension mounted
R4 upper sub frame bolted in
On to the front suspension
Coil over independent front shocks
A arm and spindle assembled
The start of the custom front bush bar
Mocking the front tubes in place
This is going to be one very cool front bush bar
Our customer wanted a front carrying tray as well. So we are incorporating the design into the bush bar, here we are using cardboard to get the look we are after
Proto-type piece being machined out of template material
Mocked up and fits well
Next we cut it out of 6061-T6 aluminum
Formed and ready to be tacked in place
Next we installed it on the tubes and installed the custom tray bottom ready to be welded out and sent to powder coat. The holes not only give it a great look but they also are functional for tie points!
While the fabrication team is working on the bush bar the paint department was busy laying down some Gunship gray paint!
Lots of cool going on with this build, come back next week as we keep moving forward with this unique R4!
